the Scottish Motor Racing Club, (www.smrc-uk.com), as well as various
other event.
These include a team for this years Ollon to Villars
hillclimb in
Switzerland, (www.ollon-villars.com).
Good to see some humour amongst the motorsport these
days, (that's part
of the reason I prefer historics). I have some good
customers in the
Duns area and have spent many a merry night down there
listening to the
car/chaos/drink related stories of what went, (and still
goes), on down
there. Most of them relate to local club racers but
Ian Scott Watson
has some great international stories about Chapman,
Clark, Border
Reivers, etc.
The next time you are back in Scotland get in touch and I
will see if I
can get you to a race meeting at Knockhill.
