Correction On TA Weekend Report

Regarding the Uli accident...
This emailed from Reid SAC#50 5/26/03:
"Uli caused the accident on TA weekend. He tried to split 2 cars exiting 6, hit one that was attempting a pass and then wiped out the wall. Debris from his car injured 2 of the marshals at corner 7 as well as a spectator (daughter of the marshal injured as well). This from a marshal on the net when the accident and the marshal (were) injured at 7"
Ed. - this replaces the erroneous report that the accident occured at corner 8 and was caused by someone else.

The Prez Gets New Rubber for the SACmobile From TireCraft.
Jeff Wenzel is the best tire guy in southern Ontario, maybe the world but then again I have only ever purchased rubber in southern Ontario. I recently required new shoes for the BMW (635CSI powerhaus mobile, awesome German thing that tears your liver out on ever shift and corner that u encounter). I called "TIRECRAFT" (SAC sponsor) and spoke to Jeff Wenzel (GM) and asked him to replace a rear set of Dunlop SP8000's with something that would get better mileage AND performance. SO he did and for 2/3rd's the cost!!! Go figure... no, don't bother just go let the professional do it for u, u won't even have to worry! Support your SAC! Use a sling!
